Gameplay Enhancements
The Phantom Pain rewards you for thinking like a real operator. Scout a base with binoculars, mark every guard, and pick your entry point. Approach at night to use the dark for cover, or hit during a sandstorm so enemies can not hear you. The AI also adapts to your habits. Take too many headshots and guards start wearing helmets. Strike at night too often and they bring extra flashlights.
Mother Base grows with you. Send recruited soldiers on side ops to bring in money and resources, then funnel those back into new weapons, prosthetic arms, and vehicles. The bigger your base, the more options you take into each mission.
Metal Gear Online ships in the box, with three modes and competitive matches for up to 12 players.
