Gameplay Enhancements
Chronopolis is the biggest open-world TT Games has built. Each district pulls from a different Marvel era, so you can swing through Spider-Man's New York, ride a chariot through Ancient Egypt, then hop into Asgardian airspace, all without a loading screen between zones.
Time manipulation powers add a fresh layer to puzzles. Doctor Strange can age objects forward or backward, freezing a plant mid-grow or restoring a broken bridge. Sandman shapes terrain. Green Goblin's flight mechanics differ from Falcon's, and Howard the Duck handles nothing like Cosmo the Spacedog.
The story was written by Marvel comics writer Kurt Busiek, so the dialogue lands harder than most LEGO games. The character interactions feel pulled from the comics, with deep cuts that please long-time Marvel fans.
