Gameplay Enhancements

Crossing and through balls got tighter. Driven crosses now whip in flatter and faster. Quick subs come in mid-match without breaking flow. Goalkeepers react smarter to deflections and tip more shots over the bar.
The Journey gave the story mode its biggest upgrade yet. You can now play matches in three different leagues across multiple countries, and your career choices in cutscenes shape Alex's relationships and contract offers.

Online servers for FIFA 18 were shut down by EA in July 2022, so FUT online play, Pro Clubs, Seasons, and other online modes no longer work. Offline single-player and local multiplayer content remain fully playable.
